Nature of request
The people request that the trespassers from Powys and other lands adjoining theirs who come and take distraints from them according to their custom without doing right be distrained to be before the justice, or that they have the king's licence to take distraints from the trespasser's lands.
Nature of endorsement
It is ordered to the justice of Wales to be informed of the usages that the people of the princes were accustomed to use, and he is to maintain the king's people in their ancient usages, and he is to do right and reason to them for the trespasses according to the usages.
