[The petition is badly damaged and it has proved impossible to reconstruct the subject matter of the complaint.]The lords request that a remedy be ordained for them so that they are aided in the mischiefs that they have suffered . . . [concerning officers and accounting in the Exchequer, and the failure to make sufficient satisfaction].

Sufficient remedy has been ordained in such cases by many statutes.
