- The scutagers request remedy as they are often distrained to come before the barons of the Exchequer to render account for the 28th, 31st and 34th years of the king's grandfather but . . . and damages of the scutagers.
- Nature of endorsement
- It is ordered to the treasurer and barons of the Exchequer that they proceed to take the account with all haste, and if there is a reason why they cannot do so then they should certify the king on this in his Chancery. /emph>

Note (Additional information about the record)
- The petition dates to 1327 or thereafter as it refers to 28, 31 and 34 Edward I, and this being the present king's grandfather. It seems unlikely that this will be far into the new reign, but this remains a speculative dating.
