Nature of request
Wymondhale requests that the chancellor be commanded to make a writ to the justices assigned to enquire and determine many grievances inflicted on the people of Norfolk and Suffolk by conspirators and maintainers of strife that they should make the enquiry as they have ceased their work by a writ that issued from Chancery without the command of the king or his council. Wymondhale has been made king's attorney to sue for the king.
Nature of endorsement
A similar petition was answered at another time in parliament . . . And because the petitioner is of ill fame and is suspected of many felonies and thence coram rege, the council considered that it was not appropriate that he sued for the king.
