1) Welles requests remedy as he is unable to have justice concerning offences done to him and his men done by John de Hengham who came with other armed men to his house, broke in and carried away the goods found there including gages for amercements, because Hengham is a nephew Ralph de Hengham the justice.2) He further requests remedy as William de Munz came with many armed men and beat the people, and many have been summoned before the chancellor and excommunicated, and they cannot have a remedy.
