The merchants request a writ to the current customers in London that an allowance be made to them in the current subsidy granted to the king in wool that they will export for money previously loaned to the king beyond the old custom.1)
Nature of endorsement
Coram rege et magno consilio.2) They should have writs to the treasurer, barons and chamberlains containing the contents of this petition, and if it is found from the patents of the coket that the debts are due then payment or assignment should be made.

The petition dates to 1337 as the petition was answered by an order to the treasurer and barons to pay the merchants if they could find that the sums were due on 30 May 1337 (CCR 1337-9, p.71).
