Waldeshef requests remedy as Cubeldyk has alleged that he was charged to Tuchet at the time of Tuchet's forfeiture for the manor of Harpswell which Tuchet had granted to him and his heirs quit and discharged, and disturbed him by frequent distresses.
Nature of endorsement
Faithful men are to be assigned in Chancery to inquire in the presence of the keeper to see if Waldeshef was charged with the £10 or not, and return the inquisition, and if it agrees with the petition then the keeper is ordered that the distraints to be made should be superseded, and the distraints made by released.

The petition dates to 1324 as the inquisition ordered in the response was held on 25 August 1324, and the writ to Cubeldyk not to intermeddle in levying the charge was issued on 20 February 1325 (CIM 1307-49, no.770; CCR 1323-7, p.259).
