Nature of request
Walerand has been put out of his vicarage of Kilmeadon by the presentation of Arblaster, who has claimed to the justice that the benefice is empty when it is not, and he requests that the justice be ordered to repeal the presentment.1)
Nature of endorsement
The rector is to act before his superior prelate concerning the vicar.2) Concerning the presentation made by the justice, it is ordered by writ of Chancery to the justice that if the church is worth more than 20 marks then it is revoked, and nothing in prejudice of the king is to be accepted.

The petition appears to date to 1317, though the revocation calendared in the patent rolls rather garbles the substance of the response (CPR 1313-17, p.646).
