Nature of request
Writ of Edward III asking the Treasurer and Barons of the Exchequer to make allowance against the debts the Abbot of Westminster owes the King for the arrears of a tithe from the vill of Droitwich, Worcestershire, which has not been paid since it was granted to Isabella of France by Edward II, with a memorandum stating that a search of the records of the Exchequer has found this to be the case.
