- Rhys ap Yeuan states that Roger de Mortimer and his ministers maliciously accused him of not arresting a man accused of homicide, and imprisoned him, and would not allow him to appear in court, but ransomed him at £20, which they had the King's ministers levy from his chattels. He requests a remedy, so that if he can be acquitted in court of the trespass, he may be discharged of the money.
