Peter de Worle states that in a plea concerning the taking of livestock between him and the Abbot of Peterborough, he was awarded the animals by judgment of the court; but that the Abbot has refused to abide by this decision, and has stolen the animals with force and arms. Peter requests that this be redressed.

Note
Dated to 1320, because of the address to Aymer de Valence as regent (his appointment, dated 4 June 1320, is in CPR 1317-21 p.454). The King's absence lasted for just over a month, so this petition can be dated fairly clearly to June 1320.
