Aymer de Valence makes five requests:1) He requests permission to set up three chantries for his father's soul, at Bampton, Kentwell, and Benham Valence.2) He asks that he might have a writ of liberate for £15 19s. for a third of the manor of Gainsborough for the lifetime of Sibyl Talebot, as his father had.3) He requests the loan of Marlborough castle for his wife to live in at the King's pleasure, paying the King the farm.4) He asks that he might be paid a fee from the Exchequer owed to his father, as he has used his own money to pay the expenses of his father's testament, in hope of this sum.5) He asks the King to order the Bishop of Chichester to receive his clerk to his church of Hamsey, as the judgment has now passed to the King's court.
