Nature of request
John de Tuwynge states that he served the King's father faithfully for twenty-two years, and the present King too in all his expeditions, and that the present King granted him a corrody in the priory of Plympton; but they will not give it to him, saying that it was given to William Bakoun of Dartmouth by the King's father. He requests that provision might be made for him elsewhere, as he has no means of sustenance.

Coram rege.This petition is to be delivered to Richard de Bury, who will have it shown to the King, and he will speak his will on it.
