Jevan ap Trahaern, who states that he has loyally served the King and his father in Scotland, the Welsh March and elsewhere, asks that he might be pardoned part of his arrears of the issues of the ringildry of Nantconwy, or that he might be allowed to pay by instalments of 60s. a year, as, because of murrain among his livestock and for other reasons, he is unable to pay at present, without selling lands and tenements.
Nature of endorsement
Coram rege.The Justiciar is to be ordered that if he finds sufficient security to pay half of the arrears next Easter and the other half at the following Michaelmas, he is to give him such respite on such a security.
