- Roger le Teseler complains that Robert Gyen and Richard de la Pole, the King's butlers in Bristol, took eleven tuns of wine from him on the Friday before the feast of St Thomas, in the King's fourth year, promising to pay him at the following Michaelmas: and they have not done so. They have now sold those wines for their own use, and given him inferior wines instead. He requests a remedy.

Note (Additional information about the record)
- The prise of wines was made on the Friday before the feast of St Thomas, in the King's [Edward III's] fourth year, so in December 1330, and payment was supposed to have been made the following Michaelmas - September 1331 - but was not. This petition must date from shortly after that.
