- This petition is clearly from the reign of Edward II, the French endorsement would suggest a date towards the end of that reign, almost certainly after 1321. It is clearly later than the related petition from John de Talworth (SC 8/75/3715), and the sum of money mentioned here does not tally with any of those contained in that petition.
