Snyterby requests remedy in that he dare not name the person who has made the trespass against him, and has lost annually 20s. beyond the value of his land. He was ordered to choose 20 men from the vill of Winterton but was threatened by the individual who he cannot name and was forced to take refuge in the church until he made satisfaction.1)
Nature of endorsement
He should be summoned into Chancery and there let justice be done.2) The trespasser should be summoned in Chancery and there he should have a remedy.
