Nature of request
Copy of a writ to the prior of St Katherine ordering him in his position of collector of the triennial tithes in the diocese of Lincoln to examine the registers for the spiritual taxation in Lincoln diocese and other memoranda concerning whether the prior of Wilsford has a pension or portion from the parish of Skellingthorpe and send what he finds to Chancery without delay with the writ.
Nature of endorsement
The registers show that the church of Skellingthorpe was taxed at 19 marks with only the pension to the abbot of Bourne for 1 mark, but the parish was not charged with a pension or portion to the prior of Wilsford, nor was it paid from the tithes of the king.
