Nature of request
Serland requests that he be sent before the council to answer to Ammory and others who have caused him to be imprisoned by a false allegation, and if they cannot do this at present that he may be able to go for a reasonable mainprise.
Nature of endorsement
Let a writ be made to the sheriffs of London to bring the body of the petitioner before the council at Westminster on 20 September to be to his answer, and another writ to the keeper of the Fleet to have the body of Gilbert Ammory his accuser before the council on the same day.
