Copy of a writ of Edward III to Richard de Bury, Bishop of Durham reciting that Selby petitioned at the parliament at Salisbury exhibited the agreement made between him and the earl of Angus and others for the surrender of Mitford castle in return for which he would be restored, and commanding the sheriff of Northumberland and the bishop of Durham to restore Selby to his lands.
