- Stede requests remedy as the bailiffs of the Weavers' Guild have taken his tools from his house and expelled him from the guild by the procurement of an inquisition before the mayor's court when he was absent. They had had him attached to appear before the mayor because he had lately sued several writs in Chancery against the bailiffs for bad customs that they had levied.
