- Staneweye requests that it is granted that the wrong done to him be redressed and that law and reason be adjudged to him by the king and council. Caam by the procurement of Botiller procured a false assize against him and ejected him from all his lands and tenements, and Caam and Somerye took his goods and chattels.

- The petition presumably dates to 1327 or thereafter as it is an open complaint against the younger Despenser. However, as SC 8/14/695 and SC 8/72/3571 are other petitions by the same petitioner on the same matter, they must represent successive petitions, though the exact occasion for their presentation, and the difference in time between them are not clear. They cannot be that far apart.
