- The petition presumably dates to 1327 or thereafter as it is an open complaint against the younger Despenser. However, as SC 8/14/695 and SC 8/72/3572 are other petitions by the same petitioner on the same matter, they must represent successive petitions, though the exact occasion for their presentation, and the difference in time between them are not clear. They cannot be that far apart.
