Nature of request
Spynale requests that the king assign him a certain place amongst men of religion where he is able to receive maintenance until he is restored to his house and can live from its profits. He further requests remedy against the maintenance and confederacy of Shareshull and others who have ejected him from his house, and carried away his goods and chattels despite being lawfully presented and instituted, as this is not able to be done without a special command of the king.

Let good people be assigned to hear and determine the complaints contained in this petition, and also the bishop of Chester is to be requested to provide sustenance for the prior in a place within his diocese.
