Nature of request
Spekkote, and Tauntefer for the king, request that judgement be rendered according to the process of the plea and according to what the king and council have ordained for conspiracies, and that the record and process be brought at a certain day for the profit of the king and the disinherited men. They sued a plaint of conspiracy against Molyns and others in the assizes held in Devon and they were attainted by solemn inquest, but by their conspiracy an assize of mort d'ancestor was passed against Spekkote and he was disinherited and taxed for damages to 100 marks which still remains to be rendered.
Nature of endorsement
It is ordered to the justices that they should proceed to render judgement according to the custom; and if there are any difficulties by which they are not able to proceed then they should bring the record before the king.
