Nature of request
The prior requests that the record and process of the plea by which he was condemned for a trespass be brought before the duke and council, and that the marshal and others be examined of the matters, and that remedy be given. The prior and London were attached and eventually found culpable for a trespass made against Emmery, though they were not culpable, and this was secured by the embracery of Bowier, Emmery and others. The prior was seized out of the sanctuary of his church and imprisoned at Wycombe, and cattle belonging to his priory were seized until he made fine with the king for the trespass.

11 October, 9 Hen. VI in the presence of the chancellor, treasurer and keeper of the privy seal it is determined that the record and process be brought by writ of Chancery, and that it be in Chancery next Wednesday.
