Salvatore requests that the grant made to Slack of their lands be annulled or that some other remedy be ordained for them, as the lands were granted to them by the earl of Pembroke and confirmed by Henry III.
Nature of endorsement
Let this bill be ordered into Chancery, and there let Slack be called by a writ of scire facias, and also the sergeants of the king and others whom are to be called, and there view the enrolment whereof the petition makes mention, and hear the reasons of the parties, and full right and justice is to be done to the parties there.

The keepership of the chapel was granted to Slake on 8 May 1382, while the order to proceed to judgment was issued on 8 February 1384. Another writ, referring to the dispute and a petition from the Prior was issued on 24 April 1383 (CIM 1377-89, no.170), and this is presumably that petition.
