Note (Additional information about the record)
- The petition dates to 1312 when the king wrote to the consuls and Schoffen of Stralsund demanding the return of the goods of English merchants including those of the petitioner. They had been seized in retaliation for a ship of Stralsund burnt at Berwick allegedly fighting with the Scots.
