Sceller requests that the king write to the councillors and commonalty of Stralsund that they make restitution of the money that they took from the masters of his two ships to allow them to sail back to England.
Nature of endorsement
He should have a writ of Chancery to the consuls of Stralsund and the other mayors and governors of the town that they enquire of the contents in the petition and do justice.

Note
The petition dates to 1312 when the king wrote to the consuls and Schoffen of Stralsund demanding the return of the goods of English merchants including those of the petitioner. They had been seized in retaliation for a ship of Stralsund burnt at Berwick allegedly fighting with the Scots.
