Nature of request
Edward II ordered work to be carried out on Scarborough Castle, to be allowed on the farm of the town; but the Exchequer will not recognise this without a specific writ of Chancery, which the petitioners cannot obtain.
Nature of endorsement
They should have a writ in Chancery according to the treasurer and barons to make allowance according to the petition.
