Nature of request
Sambourn requests remedy and that Homerston be made to come and show by what title the king claims to present to the church of Yeovil, and hear the answer of Sambourn to the title, and for the matter to be discussed and judgement given. Sambourn exchanged the church of Merriott with Rusyngdon and the church of Yeovil. Homberston has since claimed that the king presented him to the church and brought two writs of quare impedit for the same.
