- The abbot requests that a rent that was granted to the abbey from the manor of Adderley be paid from the time that it has been detained and from henceforth from the manor. The abbot was granted the rent from the late lords of the manor, but the manor was granted to the king by Badlesmere, and an inquisition was held into this, and the rent has been detained.

- The petition dates to c. 1318, as the grant of the manor of Adderley by Badlesmere to the king was made around 20 March 1318, and the petition cannot be too long after that, though of a sufficient time after for revenue to be withheld from the abbot (CPR 1317-21, p.128).
