- Rypple requests that the king will grant justices in the county of Kent to enquire of the truth of his complaint. He shows that his brother gave a messuage and land to la Frude for life, and following the death of his brother, nephew and la Frude he re-entered the land. Seynt Clere and Serre have entered the messuage and carried many things away.

- There is no internal evidence to date this petition, though on the guard it has been tentatively dated to 1290. A date in the late thirteenth or early fourteenth centuries would seem most plausible given the general appearance of the petition and the writing style employed.
