Nature of request
Rokele requests payment of a sum owing to him for wool lent by him to the king in Great Yarmouth, or that he have allowance of his own wool passing through the same port.

Let it be ordered to the treasurer, barons and chamberlains of the Exchequer that when they have viewed the letters mentioned by the petition, if they find that the debts are still due then they should make payment, allowance or assignment as quickly as they are able, receiving etc. and charging, etc.

The petition is likely to date to 1328 or shortly thereafter as the two collectors, Occle and Drayton only served together in Great Yarmouth from 15 June 1327 to 26 February 1328 (CFR 1327-37, pp.48, 83). The petition refers to them as 'adunc'', so that it must be after February 1328.
