Note (Additional information about the record)
- The petition is difficult to date, as although Richemund appears twice in entries in the close rolls concerned with debts owed to him or his late brother, neither relates to this loan. However, it seems very unlikely that this petition would be of a significantly different date than either SC 8/70/3452 or the two close roll references (CCR 1330-3, pp.354 & 432). A date of c. 1331 seems reasonable.
