Nature of request
Matthew de Redeman asks that the money owed to him for the time when he was Keeper of Dumfries castle, between 1 August 33 Edward I [1305] to the twentieth day of Christmas following, might be allowed against the debt he owes to the King in the Exchequer.
Nature of endorsement
A writ of Chancery is to be sent to John de Drokenesford, Keeper of the King's Wardrobe, to account with him concerning the contents of these two petitions; and he is to satisfy him for what is in arrears by that account, or to give him a writ under his seal.
