Nature of request
Nicholas de Redingg states that the King's late father owed him £10 sterling, from a loan made to the people of the garrisons of Blaye in Gascony during the war, and that although he has a writ of liberate for this, he has not been paid. He asks that this letter might be changed, and the current Treasurer and Chamberlains of the Exchequer ordered to pay him.
Nature of endorsement
He is to show the King's letter patent to the Chancellor, and he will give him a new writ of liberate to the Treasurer and Chamberlains of the Exchequer.
