Hugh de Reppes requests payment, by assignment or in some other manner, for two ships which he found for the King's war, and for the time when he was constable in one of the King's ships.
Nature of endorsement
[On face] The sum of this bill amounts to £415 3s[On dorse] The said Hugh is to sue to the king to order the Treasurer and Barons of the Exchequer to audit his account of the things contained within this petition; and they should make payment or assignment to him of whatever they find, through the same account, is owed to him.

CPR 1340-3 p.492 is dated 25 July 1342, and mentions two ships, as this petition does. However, he was also finding men and ships for the King's service earlier: CPR 1341-3 p.392 is dated 22 March 1342.
