Hugh de Reppes states that when he was appointed by the King to find sufficient sailors for two warships, and to attach those who were disobedient, Robert Rabat and others refused to go with him, assaulted him, and prevented him from doing his job. He requests a remedy for this contempt.

CPR 1340-3 p.492 is dated 25 July 1342, and may be the circumstances in which the petitioner was finding sailors for two ships. However, he was also finding men and ships for the King's service earlier: CPR 1341-3 p.392 is dated 22 March 1342.
