Nature of request
Godkin de Revele and Conrad de Affelen, merchants of Almaine, state that the king owes them, by his letters of obligation sealed with the cocket, £211 3s 8d, which they lent him to be paid last Easter, and request that he send writs to the collectors of the customs in his port of Boston, to allow them that sum in the next customs on wools and other merchandise to be sent by them out of the same port, notwithstanding any ordinance or command to the contrary.
Nature of endorsement
Per ipsum regem et consilium (by the same King and council).A writ of Chancery is to be sent, according to the form of the petition, to the collectors of the custom in the same place, that, when they have seen the letters patent, if they find that such a sum of money is owed to them for that reason, they are to allow it to them in the custom on wools, hides and woolfells to be embarked by them in the same port to be carried overseas, receiving from them the said letters and their letters of acquittance etc.

CCR 1327-30 p.331 is dated 26 October 1328. It is vacated because of the similar orders to pay each petitioner separately on CCR 1327-30 pp.343-4, dated 25 October 1328.
