Maurice Russel of Ireland requests the King's grace of his debts, as the King promised at Linlithgow and at Roxburgh that he would give him this, when he knew the amount - which has now been returned to him by writ of the Dublin Exchequer. He also asks that he might have terms of 100s. annually for other debts, as the King promised him at Linlithgow.
Nature of endorsement
Coram rege.Of the entire debt, the King places £100 in respite until etc. And of the remaining £200, the King grants that he is to pay 100s. annually until etc.

Dated to the summer parliament of 1302 by the appearance of a Latin summary on a roll of petitions from that parliament (PROME, 1302, summer parliament, appendix, petitions belonging to this parliament and not otherwise recorded, no.3 and roll 25, appendix, no.52; Irish Petitions 1302 and 1305 p. 5) and by CCR 1296-1302 p.551, which is dated 21 August 1302.
