John de Roos and Margaret his wife, daughter [?recte granddaughter - see C134/6/12] and heir of Peter de Goushull, state that after Peter's death the Earl of Lincoln seized certain tenements in Swinefleet, in name of wardship, during Margaret's minority. They ask that these tenements might be delivered to Margaret.

This petition must date from after the death of the Earl of Lancaster, which it mentions, and that the lands were taken into the King's hand.
