Nature of request
John de Radeclif, Richard de Radeclif and others, twelve in total, who have been imprisoned for the death of William de Bradeshagh and for breaking into the park of Ightenhill, ask that they might come before the king and his council in parliament, or that the king might grant them justice on these points, as they are imprisoned in the Earl of Lancaster's council, among enemies who have sworn to destroy them and their line. They therefore request a remedy, so that they can live in peace and answer all suits before the king and the most respected people of the land.
