Nature of request
John de la Pomeraie states that he has not been paid the £40 of annual rent which he is owed through an agreement by which Henry de la Pomeray released and quitclaimed all his right in certain lands in Cornwall and Devon to Edward, Duke of Cornwall, the King's eldest son, in exchange for £40 of annual rent until he was provided with lands worth £30 annually by the King or Duke. He requests a remedy.
Nature of endorsement
If the said John or his ancestors have been provided with £30 of land, or part of this, a similar amount is to be deducted from the payment [in] proportion, and if nothing has been provided, he is to be paid the whole, according to the effect of his charter which he has shown in parliament.
