John Prentiz the younger, outlawed for an armed attack on the Abbot of Bury St Edmunds, with robbery and arson, requests a pardon for his outlawry, promising to stand to right in court for these felonies.
Nature of endorsement
Coram rege et magno consilio.Because the King will not lose chattels or escheat, or any other lordship, he is to have a charter of pardon for the outlawry, of the king's grace, provided always that he surrenders himself to the prison in the county where he was outlawed, and stands to right if the king or anyone else should wish to sue against him.
