Hugh de Puleford states that he owes suit of court to the Abbot of Vale Royal, Roderick son of Griffin, and Peter de Arderne, but was not able to perform that suit when he was in Wales in the King's service. They are all distraining him for this, and he requests a remedy.

Because he was in the King's service, it is to be ordered that the distraints are to be made good to him.
