Nature of request
Thomas de Poningges and Agnes his wife state that Bartholomew de Badelesmere held certain tenements of Richard de Rokesle, of his manor of Westwood, which now belongs to Thomas and Agnes, who is his daughter and one of his heirs, and that they were always seised of the services due for these tenements until they were taken into the king's hand because of Bartholomew's forfeiture. Thomas and Agnes request a remedy.
Nature of endorsement
The keeper is to be ordered that if he can establish that the aforesaid Thomas and Agnes, and the ancestors of the same Agnes, were seised of the rents as the petition claims, he is to pay the rent in future, and the arrears from the time etc.
