Nature of request
Reginald Pipard, parson of the church of Beer states that he is owed a tithe from the king's mines in his parish, but that, through an agreement between the Treasurer and Barons of the Exchequer, his predecessor was always underpaid for that tithe, and he too is underpaid. He has sent a bill to the Treasurer and Barons of the Exchequer who have told him to sue in parliament. He requests a remedy, both for the arrears due to him, and in the account of the current keeper of the mines at the Exchequer.

Because it is not the intention of the king or the council that tithes due to Holy Church should be withheld, a writ is to be sent to the keeper, to see to the payment of the tithes due to Holy Church etc.
