Nature of request
Roger de Seynt Piere of Stamford asks that he might be released from the keeping of the ancient process of Gascony, and because his wages are greatly in arrears, and he has an allowance for the keeping of the process that he has never been able to have, he requests an assignment to the Prior of Holy Trinity, London, for the 20 marks that he owes the King for the vacancy in the Priorship, or some other allowance as he pleases, as he is old and impoverished, and has spent all he has on his office.

Let the process be [one word illegible] in the same manner as it has been., and he is to have a writ to the Treasurer and Chamberlains that, when they have seen the account, they are further to pay him his [one word illegible] as they should do.
