Nature of request
The petitioners state that they have been convicted before Roger le Brabazon of a trespass against the Abbot of Grestain, and are to make fine to the court, but, because they do not dare to come there, they are in exigent and on the point of being outlawed. They ask to be pardoned the fine.
Nature of endorsement
They are to surrender themselves to prison and stand to right before Roger le Brabazon; and afterwards the king will give them grace if he wishes.
