Henry Pesson states that he has been in prison in Canterbury castle for two and a quarter years because he was indicted before Geoffrey de Say and his companions of having been at Gravesend with Bartholomew de Badelesmere; although he puts himself on all the good people of Kent that he was not there. He requests the king's grace and delivery, as he is not guilty of anything, except being Badelesmere's servant in one of his manors.
